Office Visit Note
Reason: Strep Testing Narrative: Patient was exposed to a strep-positive child over the weekend. Patient's brother in office today tested positive for Strep as well. Patient not showing any signs of illness per his mother but discussed testing just to make sure since his brother is positive. Patient tolerated testing well and appears to be feeling well. Positive demeanor, nothing parent has noted that is abnormal. Rapid Strep in clinic was negative, mother informed. Advised parent to try her best to keep germs at bay with handwashing and cleaning shared spaces. Monitor for any sudden change relaying patient is appearing possibly symptomatic and keep Dr. Hobbs informed if there is a negative change. Mom stated understanding.
