Office Visit Note
Reason: Strep Testing Followup: PRN Narrative: Patient was exposed to a strep-positive child over the weekend. Patient presents with sore throat and appears tired and lethargic. Rapid Strep in clinic was POSITIVE, mother informed. Advised parent and patient to try their best to keep germs at bay with handwashing and cleaning shared spaces to hopefully prevent illness from spreading to entire household. Mom stated understanding. Patients mother requesting medication be sent to Walgreens Wayzata and states patient is not allergic to any medications that they know of, however, he has not had to take any antibiotics previously. I informed Dr. Hobbs of positive testing and informed patient's mother that he would be in touch with details of treatment. Orders
