Narrative: SPRUCE MESSAGE VISIT Date: 2026-08-10 Encounter: Spruce text message CC: Parents inquiring about timing and referral for elective neonatal circumcision. HPI: Parents of newborn Gus (born approximately 8/5/2026) requested a referral for elective circumcision. They had already contacted one provider (Katharine) who referred them to a urology group whose name they could not recall. Parents asked Dr. Hobbs for a preferred referral. Upon contacting the recommended group, parents learned scheduling extended into September and asked whether that timing was acceptable. Assessment: Dr. Hobbs provided a specific referral recommendation and advised that circumcision ideally should be completed before 28 days of age, making late September scheduling potentially too far out. Plan: Referral provided to Pediatric Surgical Associates (952-813-8000). Parents advised that ideally the procedure should occur before 28 days of age and to consider whether September scheduling falls within that window. Key clinical quotes: "Pediatric Surgical Associates 952-813-8000" "depends on how far into September. Ideally it's done before 28days of age" Source: Spruce conversation t_2MJ659J6T4000
