Office Visit Note
Reason: Strep Testing Followup: PRN Narrative: Patient was exposed to a strep-positive child over the weekend. Patient's brother in office today tested positive for Strep as well. Patient not showing any signs of illness but discussed testing just to make sure since his brother is positive. Patient tolerated testing well and appears to be feeling well. Positive, happy demeanor. No signs of sore throat and patient states his throat is not sore. Rapid Strep in clinic was negative, mother informed. Advised parent to try her best to keep germs at bay with handwashing and cleaning shared spaces. Monitor for any sudden change relaying patient is appearing possibly symptomatic and keep Dr. Hobbs informed if there is a negative change. Mom stated understanding. Brittany Carriere, CMA
