Narrative: SPRUCE MESSAGE VISIT Date: 2025-11-12 Encounter: Spruce text message followed by in-person home visit CC: Fever and cough starting the day before, sent home from school. HPI: Penelope, age approximately 8, started feeling unwell on Saturday and was sent home from school on Wednesday with fever. She shared the same household illness as her brothers Malcolm and Hendricks. Temperature on the morning of November 12th was in the high 99s. She had a mild cough. Assessment: Viral febrile illness consistent with influenza or similar circulating virus in household. Temperatures in high 99s were considered low-grade and less alarming.
